I know, I know...Who the fock OWBs a 43?!

BUT, it's summertime in TX and time to move to shorts and T-shirts.  I have a Stealth Gear IWB and love it, but I sweat like I get paid to do it and my gun stays wet all the time.  Seriously, I have to change clothes sometimes twice a day for sweating them.  I tried OWB my G19 like I do in cooler times, but it ain't working.

No pocket carry for the same reason.

Recommend me a good holster.  Texas is OC and all, but some of my customers aren't all that forgiving.

Take a look at the Versacarry leather holsters. Specifically the Protector M1. Inexpensive, light weight, holds the G43 close and securely and is comfortable.

Amazon Product
  • Handcrafted from genuine leather in USA.
  • Hand dyed to preserve natural leather characteristics
  • For outside pants, side carry only. Fits 1.75" belt width or smaller.

I bought this one and really like it. I did trim a little back near the trigger guard, but that was just preference. Hard to beat for American made, leather, and $33.

A Fobus paddle is easy on, easy off and it keeps your pistol really close to the body.
I carry my G42 in one for the same reason you stated and it will only set you back about $30

Raven
Kydex is nice on the sweat side as you can just run it under the faucet and throw it on the counter to dry

Check out Blackpoint Tactical or Jm custom kydex. Both hold owb guns really close to the body and are supremely comfortable.

I OWB for conceal. Don't really care if people might think I have a gun or not. As for holster I use Budsgunshop myholster. Inexpensive and very comfortable. Also don't kill your gun finish.
