Interesting, I bet that would work well.

Novak Trittium 3-dots.

Trittium sights because dark is a thing.  3-dots because they are way faster (for me) than those horrible vertical things that are all the rage these days.

My P226 has factory night sights.  Haven't felt the need to change them.  My G17 has Trijicon HD Orange.  I chose those after playing with a friend's and realizing they beat the hell out of the meprolights.  I still love those sights and may eventually put some on the Sig.

Why did you choose those sights?

Tritium on both the Sig P290Rs, which came with them from the factor and the G19, that I had put on before I picked up the pistol.  (72 hour waiting period in Illinois)

I have Meproilite night sights on my 686+.

They offer a very nice widely spaced 3 dot sight picture in low light or darkness, and a good 3 dot sight picture in daylight.

However, I prefer black on black sights for way time shooting and with the Meprolite tritium dots, you can cover them over with a Black Sharpie.  It'll give a back appearance in daylight, but in the dark the tritium will still glow through the thin layer of ink.
