2 parter:

1.  Have been carrying G19 in fobus paddle holster.  Wife got S&W Shield, handed down her S&W M&P 9mm compact with night sights.  Have a fobus, but the enlarged front night-sight hangs on the holster.  Any suggestions???

2.  Battle-belt holster is kydex, but I'd like to drop it down to hang below the belt (as opposed to the top of holster level with top of belt).  I DO NOT want a drop-leg holster, just to lower down the one I have (or acquire a setup that rides lower off the belt).  Suggestions?

thanks all

ASK Forbus...

Even if you didn't buy it from them, if it is the recommended holster for the M&P, they may have some advice

This. I run a G-Code Duty Drop RTI mount on my battle belt and like it a lot. My only complaint is that it sits a tad further out from your body because of the shape of the mount + the clearance of the RTI hardware, but it still performs nicely.
