Any suggestions for a iwb holster for a shield that is thin and less than $50? I have a crossbreed for my G19 but need something more discrete for the summer months here in FL. Maybe a small kydex with a good, solid, single belt clip? Preferably something that will not collect sweat. I know this has been asked a while ago but figured I'd see if there were any new suggestions. Thanks.

Holster is never a good place to cut corners on cost..... NEVER BUY CHEAP!  Ask me how I know this.

Find a good quality holster and buy it even if you have to save a little more.  Cheap holsters rarely work and almost always have compromises somewhere in the design that make them uncomfortable, not work very well, or just are crap.

I use the Comp-tac M-tac holster for IWB carry for my Glock and my Walther PPS.

I have Aliengear 1.0 and 2.0, but use JM Custom Kydex IWB v3.0 95% of the time.  http://www.jmcustomkydex.com/p/IWB3.html  Strongly recommend the 25% cant.

Sheesh, with all these version numbers you'd think we were talking computers.

I'm going to have to say -1 on the alien gear, for me anyway. I found that the holster was far to big for such a small gun. A full size 1911 in a M-TAC takes up far less room than the shield in an alien gear. But like always, YMMV.

Spend a little more and get an MTAC or CTAC.  Buy once, cry once.

The MTAC is more comfortable, the CTAC draws and reholsters smoother.

i could easily carry a 1911 in a king tuck, the aliengear for the shield worked for probably a week or so and then i ended up buying a kingtuck for the shield aswell.

If you prefer leather  http://www.epsaddlery.com/pc-78-21-c-force-covert-force-holster.aspx

ETA I carry either appendix or 4 o'clock.  This holster works well for pocket carry also.

Shit, mine should be shipping in the next few days. Cloak Tuck 2.O.

Do they really refund full price plus shipping, or just refund item price minus shipping?

I switched my Bravo holster to IWB, and it is awesome, but was awful as an OWB holster. Been wearing the Bravo IWB for the last 2 weeks, and  I'll be amazed if the Alien Gear tops it.

When I talked to them they said minus shipping. I was going to send mine back but every so often I want to wear it at 4 o'clock and I will use it. But it's not often and when I do I don't find it all that comfortable.

ETA: I bought the holster for the shield w/ lasermax attached. With the neoprene backing on the 2.0 it allows the laser to be switched on through the back, which I find is another negative. The original with a leather backing may not have that problem.

I am looking into an aliengear. What made you replace the aliengear for the kingtuck?

I don't have experience w/ other IWB holsters and I'm using mine for a G19/23 but I like the Alien Gear 2.0.  Very comfortable and I often forget it's there.
