I have a MC operator in bound. I have been thumbing through the empty your pockets thread and the MS holsters look dam fine for ideal for carrying  without harming the gun much. Lead times seem on par with crossbreed and white hat.

Any other options for a leather IWB 1911

I have a Sparks EX iwb for my old Detonics. Had it for at least 15 years, and am as happy as can be with it.

I have several Sparks holsters (auto & revolver both), and have no complaints with any of them. A Sparks PMK for an L-frame was my woods holster until I changed guns.

This is what you seek.  I hope they make one for a rail gun.  Best 1911 holster for IWB ever; Sparks SSII

The rail gun has got to be more popular than that.   But it would be worth the wait....try 1911 forum classified, etc. for a used one.  I got mine used for 65.00

+1 on the summer special 2; it's a great holster. The EX (for whatever reason) has been more comfortable for me personally.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

It is evident that milt sparks is well built and very popular, however waiting 14 weeks is unreasonable at this point in time. For anyone who was interested, I went with this. shipped same day. Expecting it today or tomorrow

I think 12-14 weeks is worth the wait. The first Sparks holster I got was a Summer Special from Brownells for my Commander. Borrowed a friend VMII and liked it much better, so I ordered one, waited until it arrived and sold the Summer Special. I did the same when I got a Glock 19. Summer Special from Brownells, sold it when my VMII got here. Although the wait I had on both VMII's was 9 weeks. I've tried other holsters, but VMII's just work best for me.

Its not so much whether its "worth" the wait, its the fact that not carrying my new gun for 14 weeks in asinine. If God forbid this holster I ordered is a crap shoot then perhaps I will order one and just deal with it until the new one arrives. If not, then looks like no spark in my gun / holster marriage

I like the looks of that Winthrop. Looks like it would ride flatter than the SS2 or EX, due to the loops being outboard like that.

Versa Max II only for 1911. Especially a rail gun.

Summer Special II and VMII are the two best holsters ever, regardless of the gun carried.

I prefer the VM2 over the summer special.
