N82 Professional... Adjustable cant, positive retention with the Twist-Lock or whatever they call it, gun doesn't contact my body at any point, and, most importantly, it is SUPER comfortable.
|
|
IWB- Milt Sparks VM II.
OWB- Mitch Rosen Pancake. Carry a Colt Lightweight Commander. Have carried with a variety of rigs, over many decades. The Sparks and Rosen are the winners, for me. |

Raven concealment iwb full size HK USP 45
Comp TAC for owb in winter with a heavy coat |
|
I use a Versa Carry for my G26 because it adds zero bulk.
For a full size gun, I use a knockoff Crossbreed style holster for extra support. |
|
Either my Old Faithful hybrids for my autos or the leather pocket holster for my 642. I can't pick a favorite from those three.
|
|
Crossbreed super tuck. I've used them for at least 6-8 guns and I keep going back to them.
|
|
Kramer vertical scabbord. Carried my Glock 23 in it for many years. Love Kramer products.
|
|
Sticky holster for my shield, Mika pocket holster for my 642, and I'm liking my Galco Triton for my Glock 19 so far although I'll probably also be picking up a sticky for the 19 as well.

Quoted: I use a customized trimmed Crossbreed or CBST clone for all my heavy/large CCWs. I remove all the excess leather. After 10+ holster types/brands cheap and pricey I found the hybrid style with the flat leather back against the body, two winged steel clips to spread weight and the overall thin profile the most comfy. And, I can use a heat gun to reshape kydex to another gun. Now, for the tiny cm9 though it's a cheapo Ace IWB leather with metal clip rig (sorry no pics- but it's simple and cheap). https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-15TNq6hAxcY/USq06L6bUFI/AAAAAAAAJak/N6TearPtfls/s1119-Ut/HolsterCollection.jpg View Quote I think CBs look very poor.... Any Kydex holster with the ejection port molded in, I stay away from. Here is a pic of what I would consider to be a decent quality IWB Hybrid: The leather is almost twice at thick and the Kydex looks like it was formed properly. I also like that the Kydex comes up high since that makes rehosltering easier and keep the leather sweat guard from folding over the holster opening. |

Raven concealment VG2.......fits all my glocks (26, 19, 17) small & discreet. In the words of my Gpa........juuuuussst riiigghhtt!!

It's of my own making Great work |

I have had good experiences with Simply Rugged using both the Cuda and Silver Dollar holsters, as well as kydex from TR Holsters on eBay.

I am rocking a crossbreed mini tuck for my shield. I feel like riveted kydex is too old fashioned. The retention on the holster has too much play. Platforms like white hat or alien hold the kydex with screws permitting adjustability and swapping for different guns. Unless crossbreed changes their products I might end up with a different make next time unfortunately. I think it is very comfortable and they are a great company otherwise

Last week, I would have save my G-Code Incog, but now: Aliengear Cloak Tuck 2.0. It's awesome.

Another vote for the Milt Sparks VM II
I have a few other decent holsters but this is by far the most comfortable |
|
I'm fast becoming a fan of the Sticky Holster for my J frame. It stays in place, works best with a wide belt. I use it IWB with a pullover shirt, not with a tucked shirt.
$30 or so, delivered. |

Tucker Gun Leather "The Answer" for IWB . HF2 for OWB. Many miles on both and very happy with them. Also have one of his belts.

Surprised nobody else is carrying the Raven Eidolon, ive only had mine a week or so but so far its the best ive ever used in AIWB. First holster ive found that completely makes my Glock 19 disappear on me.

Iwb- Crossbreed
Owb- Blackpoint tactical standard kydex. I've been carrying an LCP in both for over a year. No complaints. Both conceal very well. My next carry gun is a Shield in 9mm. Will probably buy one of each holsters that I have now to fit it. |

Very hard question to answer
I really like Galco (my summer comfort is great for my G33) but I just got the Raven concealment Eidolon and that is a bad ass holster Never thought Id appendix carry or carry a full size G17 but now I can say I have and will (although neither is my preferred carry method) |

BlackPoint Tactical Mini Wing. Love this. You can adjust ride height with the leather wings, I raised mine up a hair... So far, I've been quite happy with it. This is my first and only IWB holster, so I don't have the experience to compare it. At $80, it's a little pricey, but I feel it's worth it. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/slowmethinks/IMAG2303_zps3ht7wzs4.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/slowmethinks/IMAG2305_zpsbcygxvh5.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/slowmethinks/IMAG2302_zpsjivcsyq1.jpg View Quote A big +1 for BlackPoint from me as well. I have two mini wings and a leather wing. The light equiped mini wing is my EDC rig and I love it. |

Regardless of season, I use an older Center of Mass Kydex for my Kahr K9.
Before that, I used a FIST Model 1 Kydex for the same gun. Tried a Crossbreed and hated it; didn't feel right on me. |
|
Crossbreed SuperTuck, horsehide, after a couple coats of Pecard's Leather Dressing. I wear mine in all seasons.

I've tried many over the years, and still own and use most of them from time to time (Glaco OWB Paddle, G-Code OWB belt slide, Blade-tech OWB Straight Drop, Comp-tac CTAC, Safariland ALS OWB, Raven (back when they were Malabar Front), Galco Yaqui, Milt Sparks Summer Special, Crossbreed Supertuck, etc.)
What I've found to work best for my needs are the following three: 1. Milt Sparks VMII (G19) - this is by FAR the most comfortable IWB I've ever tried. All day comfort. 2. Comp-tac MTAC (G19 and a Walther PPS) - this is a very close second in comfort to the VMII. I only use this one when I need to tuck my shirt or I need to carry the slimmer PPS because I do not own a VMII for it. 3. Desanstis Superfly (Kel-tec P32, Walther PPS, Seecamp 32) - I'll admit I haven't tried very many pocket holsters, but this one is affordable, practical, and does everything I need it to do. Holsters are a very personal choice, what works for me may not work for you, but I do believe that the statistical trends you see in threads like this are trends for a reason. Disclaimer: The above information was all true, up until I lost all of my guns and holsters in a tragic boating accident. ETA: spelling |
