I have an X-FER from Armordillo Concealment.
http://www.armordilloconcealment.com/category_s/96.htm

I like that it's light specific, not pistol specific (so you can carry any pistol you want as long as you put your Tlr-1 on it).

I also like that you can wear it appendix, or 2-4 o'clock because of the flexibility the soft loop gives you vs a thick clip.

I haven't run this combo enough appendix to answer that question. I would imagine that if you carry 12-1 o'clock enough that will happen. It's probably more likely with a cerakoted slide than a factory slide.

The gen 4 slide coating is pretty lax lol.
I built one for personal use with a flat on the back for a foam wedge. Noticed my button wearing on my slide is why I asked.

Personally I prefer hybrid holsters. . So if you don't mind half leather and half kydex, check out hidden hybrid holsters. .. I have a hk 45c with a tlr 3 and it's plenty comfy,  rides well, and has been holding up to my last few range sessions with no issues.

I just took invoice on my Multi Holster Kydex and leather hybrid IWB.  I am using it to carry a Springfield MC Operator with Surefire X3000 Ultra equipped and love the fit and carry feel of the holster.  The holster seems to be about the same build quality as my Cross Breed that I had previously been using for a 3 or so years(but Cross Breed does not offer IWB's for guns with lights affixed).  I have only had the Multi Holster for about 3 weeks now. maybe a little more but she does seem pretty durable and is breaking in nicely.  I used to carry a 3" compact Colt New Agent and my MC Op with light seems to carry just as well in the Multi Holster(as far as carry comfort and concealability is concerned).

Wish I could give you a more long term use review but the holster is still too new.

Thanks, Nickoftime, any first hand experience is what I am looking for. I just ordered a concealment solutions today for my vp 9 with the tlr-1 attached. I will post some pics and my thoughts when I get it.

Is that holster stable?  It seems like it might want to shift around.  I like the idea though.

Yes it is. I like that I can cant the firearm when sitting down (AIWB). I've worn it several times about 3-4 o'clock without it moving at all. I like it alot.

I ordered one of their AIWB holsters for a G17/APL. We shall see how it goes, right now my gold standard is a JM Custom Kydex holster so I have an excellent holster to compare it with.

As mentioned above, I haven't worn it in that orientation long enough to exhibit that problem. If I'm driving I carry more 2-4 o'clock.

If it wears so be it. It's a tool, not a show piece.

I have a Kolbeson leather works hybrid IWB for a Glock 19 with a TLR-1.

http://www.shopleatherworks.com/tac-hybrid-iwb/

I've been using this holster every day for 8 weeks. Prior to this I have 4 years with a Crossbreed and 2 with a Ctac Minotaur.

The bad:

You need another inch of waist in the pants to accommodate it compared to an IWB w/out light.

If you carry at 4:00, you can't use the back right pocket for your wallet. I carry at 3-3:30, and don't have problems.

The wait was painfully long.

The good:

This holster combines my favorite features of the CTac and CB.

More distance between clips like the CB. This spreads the weight more evenly on the belt.

The kydex clips are rigid unlike the CTac. This keeps the holster from flopping when you are sitting in the bathroom.

The kydex is thicker and more rigid, like the CTac.

Retention is adjustable like the Ctac.

Cant is adjustable.

There are 2 layers of leather. The outer layer, and a soft inner layer is stitched onto the back. Your skin is protected from the mounting hardware by this soft leather.

Look at JM Custom kydex. You can specify any cant between 0-25 degrees.
