how do you carry your reloads? vertically? horizontally? loose in your pocket?

Depends on where I'm going, if flying they have to be in a manfacture box, if I'm going to a match where I need quite a few rounds Crown bags work great (a 1.75 Crown bag will hold 1000 .223 rounds). I have more Crown bags than I'll admit laying around...

Vertically, in a mag, bullets facing forward, support side. In a raven mag holder.   Who the hell would carry reloads loose in a pocket ?  I'm sure dome jackass in GD does

I have a single leather Galco tuckable mag holster for when I am wearing jeans or pants without a mag pocket.

Spare magazine in a belt attached magazine holder bullets facing forward.

Depends.  In normal dress, a spare for my primary in a mag pouch on my belt, speed strips for my backup in my front pants pockets (2 right, 1 left,) but while in a suit I ditch the belt pouch and the left pocket speed strip and carry a spar mag for my primary in my left front pocket.

ETA:  I don't carry a belt pouch I a suit because I need to appear unarmed when I take off my jacket, which happens pretty frequently in our climate down here.

Vertically in kydex mag pouch outside waistband.

Two 9-round single stack 1911 mags, each in an IWB leather pouch, weak side. Vertically, I guess.

There's another four 9-round mags in a snap-on pouch in the glove compartment of the truck, mostly as a replacement since I quit keeping a rifle in the truck. Sometimes there's a spare 50-round box of hollowpoints in there, if I can spare enough to stick 'em in there. Not often though.

I dunno if I'll change the setup much if I switch from the 9mm 1911 to a W.German Sig 226; I'll probably still keep the 2+1 on my person, but go down to only 2 spares in the truck.

Depends on how I am dressed. Usually just in my weak side front pocket if its a single stack; or in that little fifth pocket, which makes a pretty decent mag pouch.

I use this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/452794/glock-magazine-pouch-glock-17-19-22-23-26-27-31-32-33-34-35-polymer-black?cm_vc=ProductFinding

bullets facing forward. It might not be as cool as some of the other options but if you carry a Glock I think it is hard to find anything better, especially for the money.

Some in the magazines.

Some in plastic containers.  Like the plastic containers candy/nuts, etc. come in that you buy at Sam's Club or Costco.  Screw on lids.  Old peanut butter jars (the plastic ones).

When I'm at the range I like to be able to look through the clear plastic jug/bottle/container and see how many rounds I have left.

If I'm t shirt and shorts I carry a spare 9 round mag in my weak side pocked with my G27 but I just ordered a Safariland 123-83-2 Plain Black Glock 17/22 Horizontal  Magazine Holder to carry a spare full size mag on my belt.

Weak side, bullets forward, vertical.  Currently using a RM Holsters mag carrier, but I have 2 Kytex carriers on the way.

The phone pocket on 5.11 pants fits a double stack or two single stack mags, plus a flashlight. It also holds a quick strip nicely. If I feel the need for more, I have a leather vertical belt pouch and a 2x2x2 pouch for 38/357.

Glock magazine pouch, for G17 mags, and a Center of Mass kydex mag carrier for Kahr 7rd 9mm mags, both carried around 7:00-8:00

The 5.11 pants I wear to work have cargo pockets which both include two internal pockets. Israeli bandage in one, reload in the other. Phone and light on the other side. I'm satisfied with this arrangement. Casual clothes just get a mag thrown in the pocket. Works fine, but I'm looking for a better solution.

Horizontally, on my weak side in a nylon pouch with a Velcro closure.

Oh, "How do you carry your spare magazines"  Now I get it.

Usually in my left side pants pocket.  Or in the left side cargo pocket.  I really do need to get an acceptable mag. pouch for the PO7 magazines.

Was just able to order a mag carrier from RCS for my Shield.

Have previously been carrying a spare mag in my front left pocket.

Have an IWB holster and a mag carrier on order from JM Custom, but that won't come in until the end of August. I broke down and ordered from RCS. They're fast for quick ship items. I ordered Sunday evening and it shipped yesterday!

Uncle Mike's size 3 pocket holster.

Two 17rnd mags for the M&P compact.

Or

Two 8 round mags for the Shield.

They always stay aligned.

Sort of.  I have a Safari Land horizontal mag holder for a double stack mag and I've got THIS on the way for a single stack mag.  Much more comfortable than carrying vertically or vertically IWB.

I was taught bullets forward so you draw the magazine with your index finger in front.

Horizontally  1 or 2  15rd 9mm magazines.

TheWilderness.com  H mag holder  (Option A and Option B)
It makes for the very fast reload .

Best Hmag  holder I've found in the 30+yrs of carry.

I use speed strip and or HKS speed loader for my BUG AKA M642 that sits in left front pocket.

I carry the 38spl reloads in my right front pocket or sometime right cargo .

Tony / JM does excellent work.

Plus he will make one to your specs.

I myself don't care for raven holsters

I use to use knife sheaths for mag holders until I found  the H mag holder by wilderness.
There no need to un do the Velcro to draw a magazine. It has a open end.
Wilderness also makes a sheath type holder as well. I bought one but haven't used it yet.

Plus they all can Velcro on your belt so take on.off is easy.

yes

I use to carry in my cargo pockets or front pockets and the mags would end up full of lint.

Comptac, OWB kydex.  Two single mag pouches work better for me than one dual-mag (more flexable, easier to re-arrange, etc). Even OWB, they hide really easily since they're only barely wider than the belt.
