I'll venture a guess of .45
Followed by .38
Then 9mm
Those first two could possibly be backwards.

1-.40
2- 9mm
3- .45 ACP

I have typically carried .40 the most, but lately have been finding myself taking either the 9mm or the .45 with me. Still nice to have options

Mostly 40, If I plan a range trip with a specific caliber like 9mm than I will carry that for the day so its easier for transporting.

All my handguns are 9mm. With today's defensive carry ammo it's senseless to give up capacity by carrying anything else IMO.

.45 mostly but the .38 gets plenty of time in my pocket.

I however do not get caught up in the caliber debate.

Just so happens my choice of carry gun shoots this caliber most reliably.

.45 or .38 special,even though a G26 used to be my most carried pistol it really no longer makes sense.

9mm Para normally,

.380 ACP on occasion (and with increasing frequency)

.45 ACP when I start feeling nostalgic.

sometimes there are multiple bad guys.

you will miss some.

capacity is important to me.

9mm then .380.
9mm = ammo is cheaper so i practice more, more capacity, lighter, less recoil=faster follup-shots (for me), cheaper ammo, and...cheaper ammo.
.380 = at mugging distance, i don't think a BG is going to notice the difference between 8rds of 95gr .380 JHP, 9mm or .45 going up his nose (though the other two might make a slightly bigger mess).

1 - 9mm (G19 or G26)
2 - 10mm (G29)
3 - .380 ACP (G42)

Was carrying my CCO 1911 in .45. Purchased a 3913 (9mm) and it just shoots so nice and accurate that I have now switched over. So now I carry a 9MM.

Most often? .38 special, since I carry the same backup gun on and off duty, but switch from a .40 while working to a 9mm while off.

.40 with my G27 mainly on the weekends these days.
