MTAC kydex shell completely covers the gun's muzzle, not only helping to protect the gun but also keeps the muzzle from wearing a hole through your pants. |

Love my CBST, haven't any experience with others. Their warranty is outstanding and lifetime as well. Mine is broken in and very comfortable. Makes either my Xdm9 or Service XD45 disappear. I do like the idea of others that you can change the Kydex for different pistols.
They all appear to be the same style of holsters just a matter of minor differences and costs. |

Only had my MTAC for a couple of days. Had a WhiteHat version and sent it back. The MTAC is much more comfortable for me.

I have 2 MTAC holsters for a G30 and G19. Love them both and the new clips are almost indestructible.

get the MTAC, eventhough comptac's warranty sucks in comparison (2 yr vs lifetime?)
both are very comfortable h/w, the MTAC used a full leather backing that is way thicker for comfort AND over time it does not flap down, hindering a one handed reholster, which the CB leather does...the CB is quality, its just that over time, the leather is too flabby |

I went with the MTAC because I didn't want the large belt loops (I use the tuck feature a lot and they are too obvious on the crossbreed) and I liked the soft leather backing. I carried a 5" kimber in it daily for several years. I still carry it from time to time and the holster is holding up great. As soon as they have a holster for my new ccw I will pick up another.

Both wear about the same, and cost close to the same. Buy what you can get your hands on. Now I know Crossbreed had a wait in the past but I just ordered one for my new shield on July 3rd when they had a 4th of July sale and received it on July 16th Same here, I got mine less than 2 weeks after I ordered it. |

I have not tried MTAC holster, because I did not like the plastic clips. I have since purchased 2 of the Crossbreed holster and have never had any problems with the regular leather holster.
