What great fun. Picked up the next project yesterday, hopefully this one will take less than 9 months.

Sure you can put anything on your SBR you want but you have to keep it under 10 imported parts total (the parts list is determined by the ATF). The "stock" is a US made MTF.

Otherwise the credit card would be plum full of VZ purchases from PSA....What an absolutely fun gun to shoot due to it's light weight and great accuracy. Gonna order another one from PSA and make it a fixed stock model.

I haven't stood beside it when fired with the SF brake yet.

Got my VZ2008 last year from AIM Surplus and could not be happier!

I waited about six months and snagged a CNC Warrior railed upper hand guard, then added the Gear Sector offset light mount with a Coast LED light, an ambi mag catch, sling, wrapped the stock and notched the slant brake to face straight up.

Next will be having the carrier tabbed, CNC Warrior trigger assembly, chrome piston and probably have the barrel cut back and pin a suppressor mount to bring it back up over 16".

I love this gun but after shooting 3-4lb AR triggers, it's quite a change! On top of that, these things get DAYUM hot after a couple mags!

The muzzle brake is a new production Czech Special Forces Brake.

Pistol grip is an AR15 A2 grip with the finger bump ground off and a Hogue Handall Jr. added. That is the same setup I use on my AR's. Fits my hand just right. Mounted to a modified AR to AK grip adapter.

I like the grip adapter idea on the Vz58! Is that a double star? What did you do to mod the grip adapter to fit? Where did you get the Czech SF brake? ZAHAL? Sorry for all the questions I get all excited over new vz 58 products
