Hey everyone,

Just purchased a Arsenal SLR-104UR with an 8" barrel.

OAL is 28.875"
MD requires OAL to be a minimum of 29" (id like it to be 29.1" to cover myself)

MD also requires it to have a Muzzle Brake (due to side folding stock)

**Im looking for a buttpad that I can permanently attach (screw on) and a quality muzzle brake (will have to be pinned) to help achieve OAL of 29"**

Ive been doing alot of digging and the FH that it comes with brings the OAL to 28.875" listed above

This is what the current configuration is: I would need a longer muzzle device than pictured and buttpad

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong here..

MD letter on SBR's and SBS's

If it's properly registered with the BATF as an SBR, then the 29" OAL does not matter. (I would hope K-var would have MD on the list of do not ship if this was incorrect.)

As i understand it, if the OAL is less than 29" here in MD, and it's a centerfire rifle (Not a SBR) then you could have problems.

If i am incorrect, someone please let me know, as i am about to submit a form 1 myself.

It is legal, you would need to submit an OAL correction with pictures with your Form 1. There are a few dealers in MD with the sbr version on their shelves and in compliance.

I guess my question is,

Why would you be concerned about making your SBR 29" if MD does not require it?

Im not following you. MD requires OAL to be a minmium of 29" for an SBR

You are correct, and i am/was mislead due to my forgetting about the whole 2013 BS here in MD.

I have a pre 13 sbr which is shorter than 29". I haven't even looked into the new BS copycat laws since then. I guess I'll have to re-consider my current build before i send off the form 1.

Sorry for the confusion. Carry on, and good luck!

Depending on your stock this might work.

Also, I'm not sure if they would fit considering bulgy AK stocks might be a bit different than Russian stocks. So order with caution.

And as for the muzzle device option, I'm not sure how long you need one but you could also go with these tradition ones.
