Greetings,
I know a pretty good amount about AKs, but I am still relatively fresh after converting from years of ARs. I have two AK pistols (a IO Hellpup, almost identical to a Draco C, and a Mini Draco) that I am awaiting SBR paperwork back on, and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with running a Wolff XP recoil spring in either or both. Curious if it will still function reliably, and if it would help with the carrier travel rearward. The Mini will still have the factory buffer in it, but just wanted to know if using the XP springs would help alleviate the possibility of the carrier "slamming" into the rear trunnion. Thanks for any input!

I have not tried the Wolff springs, I have used a buffer to prevent abuse , ALG defense also has a new AK recoil spring . I picked up one and have not installed it in a gun yet
