Buying one this week.

Im leaning m92 because of the hinged top cover and slightly shorter barrel. Also people say qc is higher.

Given both are 450-500 bucks, which and why?

I've owned both, still own the M92 (soon to be SBR). I do wish I wouldn't have sold the Draco and just kept both. the Draco has a chrome lined bore, standard 14-1 ak threads, ability to use standard akm handguards, and I did notice that the rear trunnion on the Draco is thicker (for drilling and tapping). I also noticed in my case the fit and finish was better on my Draco then my M92, I have a couple deformed rivets on my pap it doesn't effect function and there perfectly flush it's just a looks thing. That being said I love the M92, so much so I bought it's little brother the M85PV. The krink resemblance just does it for me, and if I'm going to sbr something I prefer a barrel a little shorter then 12''. If you have any specific questions post them, you really can't go wrong with one or the other, my only advise would be to look the pistol over carefully before you buy it.

Probably not possible as most places around here dont have them, unless you go to a gunshow and pay 525-550 plus tax. They can be had for $100 cheaper easily.

I have been going to catch one or the other on sale. I havent seen a sale on one in a while.  I am leaning to the serbian gun. Both seem to sbr just fine with the stormwerkz adapter. My goal is to darken the finish on the handguards, add a cone, and maybe a red dot.

Owned both sbr'd the draco sold the m92.
Draco has standard furniture/safety,  flat trunnion, standard threading, lighter.

M92 worked fine but the draco is more standardized. Both being new are rough actions, hard safeties. You'll be happy either way i think but that's why i went draco. I knew i wanted Krebs safety ultimak and polymer lower handguard.

Just finished E-filing a form 1 on my Draco about 15 minutes ago.

Now the waiiiiiiitttttt begins.

M92 is shorter, and has the more Krinker style.

Draco is maybe the better gun.

I have the draco SBR'ed, and I love it.  But it's only 4 inches shorter than a standard AK.  Not sure it was worth the stamp.

Thank you, it's the stock wood, sanded it down applied Minwax Red Chestnut stain to bring out the grain a bit and then applied about 10 coats of Red Rit Dye mixed 1-1 with denatured alcohol and then three layers of lacquer. I wanted more of a traditional look with the build. Here's a better pic of it.

I had no issues putting the grip in, I had to modify the screw and the hole at the bottom of the grip. I used the screw for the grip that came with it.

Well I bought mine today - found it on local trader board.

Good shape M92, krink brake, Magpul grip, and a sig brace +1 mag for 450. Everyone seemed happy with the deal.

Need to plan to sbr the thing. And what to do with the sight. The stock sight sucks LOL

JBI Armory did the swap.

I refinished it when it got back.

From this morning

Out of curiosity, what did it cost to have the trunnion installed?
I've been thinking of doing this, but not sure I want to pony up the bucks.
