I just stumbled across this forum, and don't see too much M85 action here right now. Here is my M85 built into a budget pseudo-Krinkov. Not for the purists, but it gives me an inexpensive AK platform rifle I can run in the occasional close-range action rifle match (my .223 reloads don't contain steel like the eastern bloc stuff - steel projectiles are forbidden at most matches). Enjoy!

Similar to my M92. I like it!
I just wish someone would make a top cover with shorter span Krink type sights for the M85/M92 so we could use the siderail mounts. |
