This Draco SBR was inspired by "Finslayers" SBR. Here's a couple of pics I took of it.

Very nice!

I went with a solid wood side-folder on my Draco, but only because I was doing an Arsenal SAM-7K at the same time (it got the black plastic/triangle treatment ).

Like you Finn was an inspiration, and even patiently answered questions I had and a helped me through the process.  He's probably forgotten about that kindness by now, but I assure you that I haven't.

Finnslayer is great, I emailed him to get the right flashider, and he answered back prombtly.

I am doing the same build right now. I ordered a night brake, triangular folder and storm werkz hinge from manticore.

All I have left is the black poly handguard set. Where is a good place to find the black hand guards?

I got that set at MidwayUSA, AK-Builder was out of stock on the black handguards. It's made by Arsenal and counts as one US compliance part.

Fin's Draco inspired me to build one, as well. Great looking rifle!

Atlantic has them in stock for $475...

At least they did a day or two ago.  Dracos seem to sell out fast!

OP, what stock are you using on it?

It's a manticore arms triangle stock

Great choices with the furniture!

I must beg you to stop posting as I will end up having to buy one of those DRACOs !

Just finished mine tonight. Used the ace folder AR adapter simply because I had the extra parts laying around.

I might do this.

Pick up the UCA plate from stormwerkz and toss a CTR on mine.

Finslayer, which ultimak are you using? Any pics that show it better? I am still waiting on my form 1 but I have a PA Advanced micro dot laying around that I may put on this Draco.

I picked up my Draco after Finslayer83's original SBR project thread. Some career drama in past year and half slowed me down a bit but, she's mostly there now other than the planned appliance epoxy refninish. I had Matt Yeamans install a std fixed stock rear trunion this past winter and I had it assembled with a Romanian push-button folder and Dong HG. When the Zhukov's hit the market I picked one up to try and added some various bits from the parts bin.

I was even thinking when the zhukov stocks came out "man thatd be sweet to put a fixed rear trunnion in a draco and use that stock."boy was i right,  that is looking sweet Blitz, keep at it.

hold up!

what is that cleaning rod retainer for using the LHV handguards. Mine kept walking out when I had those on the draco and I'd have to go find it every so often

I bought three of those M72 cleaning rod retainers myself, and one will be used on my Draco when I get it back.  valleyrat was selling them in the EE.  You could check with him to see if he has any left.

I got mine from Apex under M72 parts for $15. Not sure if they have more left. Pretty handy piece of kit.
