Does this require an SBR stamp if used on an AK pistol, as does a vertical grip? A friend and I were talking about this and I said, "I know where to ask..."

No. An angled foregrip is not a vertical foregrip, and is perfectly legal on a pistol.

Yeah, the Magpul AFG, being the first of the ilk, even has its own letter of approval from ATF regarding use on pistols.

It might not end of being an issue as long as a bunch of tards don't continually ask the ATF about it.  Just leave well-enough alone...
