I'm running the same adaptor on my M85 with a .30cal can. Works wonders.

I know someone who just got a baffle strike on a specwar running an adapter. I'd be very nervous about that set up.

I have a specwar on an adapter on mine and have not had any problems.....yet. The barrel was threaded 1/2-28 and the adapter changes it to 5/8-24. Just be sure to check it before shooting every time to be sure things are aligned and not coming loose.
