I am well on the way to a 7.62 Tok build using an AK74 receiver, etc, and a PPs 43 kit.

I want to affix a plate to the rear of the receiver and weld a nut on it.  Then I will screw in an AR pistol tube in order to attach a Sig brace.

I need to find a nut that I can screw the tube into, or.....

another way of attaching the tube.

Any help is appreciated.

Well, it's aluminum so there's no welding it, but it can be bolted or screwed on. May have to grind the tab off the back so it sits flush against the rear of the trunion.

The castle nut is usually steel but may not give you enough threads to be strong. Maybe double them up?

OP really seems to be asking about a female receptacle for the buffer tube threads, not the castle nut that secures to the buffer tube threads against it.

Meaning the equivalent of the female threaded part of an AR lower that accepts the buffer tube male threads:

Yes, and two castle nuts welded together would fill that role. That's what people are suggesting.
