Basically, I took the top piece off, sanded a wide flat spot full length across the top with a belt sander, and drilled it for a screw, and nuts, and mounted my own picatinny rail, and bolted it down, and sprayed the wood with matte black, mounted a red/green dot 1x30 scope
Put 500 rounds through it over the week, Red dot held zero perfect,
zeroed it to 25 yards, laid them in almost on top of each other.
zeroing was remarkable easy 4 clicks right, 6 clicks down, and start shooting for fun.
I really like the red/green dot scope at short ranges, I have never used one before, so I was not sure if I would.
With the brace, it becomes a serious, and shootable gun. I have to say all that rubber cushions the recoil down a lot.
I will experiment with ranging it better later. Seems pretty much on at 50, but I was just shooting rocks , and cans at the 50
