Instead of the commonly used Echo 93 sling mount, why not just drill and tap the rear trunnion and bolt a swivel on? Is the trunnion real hard? What set up does the C39 Draco micro use? Who sells the swivel that would be most appropriate ?

One reason is to avoid making irreversible changes to the original equipment. Also, that would get in the way of any future folding stock you might want to install.
Both of these reasons may affect resale value.
