Has anyone tested the AR mag adapter on this?

I'm on the fence on this one so someone buy one and review it. Thank you.

I wonder if that is plastic, aluminum, or steel.

I had myself talked out of a m85...but this could send me over the edge.

I wonder if anyone sells the ar magazine adapter by itself & how hard it would be to convert a regular m85...

Nah the mags are cheap now, but it's another magazine I'd have to buy. I already have a pile
Of AR mags.

I played with this model at SHOT. The mag release is tiny and Atlantic has already reported in another forum that mags don't drop free.
You could buy a standard M85 and a DOZEN steel mags for the price of the new model.
I don't doubt for a second that Century will sell a ton of these.

I like the AK release as it's easier for my rheumatic fingers to operate. I'd post a pic but I haven't figured that out yet.

I just put half of my collection (Sig rifle, Sig 516 pistol and 2 tactical AMD-65 's) up for sale/ trade to get a few of these.

I got mine last week.

The magwell is plastic.  Magpul mag does not drop free.  Troy mags will.  Mag realease button is small.
RPK trunnion and receiver
10 inch barrel
The booster was not indexed correctly.  I cut new notch to make it tighter.
Came with two Tapco mags
$539.00 plus tax at local shop
No scope rail on the side (not possible with hinged top cover)

The topcover is little loose at the rear trunion area (laterally).  Will need to put dimples to make it tighter

Overall, the gun is well built.

What other muzzle devices can be had in this thread pitch?
Link Posted: 3/28/2014 1:05:47 PM EDT
[#27]
There's only a handful. Manticore, Spikes, CNC Warrior, and there may be one or two more companies. Manticore makes a flash hider and a comp. They're fairly priced as well.

(Not my gun. Found it on google images)

Go for the Manticore Nightbrake.

I've got one coming. What's the cheapest way to get a sig brace that folds on an AR tube interface? Who has the cheapest folding mechanism? Which buffer tube will allow the brace to slide all the way down flush with the receiver?

You can also grind/file/mill material off the back of the booster to correctly time it.

How are these plastic magwells holding up??

Anyone know - is the magwell adapter for ar mags a permanent change or can it be removed and the original rock in metal mags used as well if desired?
