Thanks for the info... guess I'll use what I already have, unless you include a section with the forend.

View Quote We plan to offer it both with and without rail segments, i.e. "Fully Loaded" and "Naked" just like the Tavor ARClight forend. We also sell the rail segments separately on our website. |

If you need another beta tester [raises hand] In all seriousness though, do you have a rough eta on when they'll be ready for sale? 3 months? 6? Those look slick. Very excited. |

(Seriously though, should we be checking this thread or your industry thread? I'm checking your industry thread just about every day. Oh, and I dont have facebook, so please don't just announce it there.) |

I usually cross- post info to both threads, will let you know as soon as possible!

I have a pretty good idea what the price will be on the Renegade forend and top cover, but we are going to hold off a bit on posting it until we get a bit closer to production.
That is the business way of saying "if production ends up being a little more efficient than we thought, we might be able to bring the price down a bit from my estimate!" and the end user benefits. Sven Manticore Arms |
|
Then what's the problem with giving us a ballpark figure? If it turns out to be less than that, great.
|
|
Well considering the competitor is selling at 115 bucks I would guess a ballpark around there or less :) but thats a guess
|
|
There's another version on Amazon for $40. And other places for $60. Although it has to be hacked in order to fit, but it works.

I won't lie....I'm thinking about getting an sb47 even though the mounting system looks horrible. I really don't want to jump through NFA hoops. Even considered selling the m92 to fund a ar pistol since the kak buffer tube and a QD end plate would make it as good as an SBR IMO |

View Quote Because if it ended up costing a couple pennies more then people would be bitching and moaning. He will give is the number when when all the variables are known so let's not pester the man who is bringing an item to market incredibly fast in part because "we" asked for it. Just be glad we aren't dealing with RRA because if we were, production and delivery would be about a decade away. |

I should have pictures of the Aimpoint Micro/Primary Arms Micro top cover in a few days.
That is part of the reason I am holding off on posting price, I want to make sure that top cover works, and that the machine time is about the same as the Fastfire top cover! |

My night brake really cut down the muzzle flip on my m92, but shooting at dusk was fun lol.

Got the Aimpoint Micro/Primary Arms Micro red dot top cover mount prototype finished up, have to make some changes but everything co-witnesses fine. Will post up a pic or two in the next day or so!

Here is what I did to mine. It's a Siga rail, $70. It's not done yet but functional. I still need to clean up rough edges and I think I am going to duracoat it, black or dark gray. Here is the first prototype of the Aimpoint Micro/Primary Arms Micro top optics top cover for the Yugo Krink Renegade forend. Yes, you can see the iron sights in the bottom 1/4 of the optic window.
(due to some clearance issues with the mounting hardware, the optic will centered on top front to back on the actual production version) If you want to be notified when the Renegade Forend is in stock (and when we release pricing), just send us an email to [email protected] asking to be put on the notification list. |

I really like this setup because the hand guard actually protects your hand from coming in contact with the mount.
I'll probably purchase one if I decide to keep the m92. |

Just a quick update on the progress of the Renegade forend:
Mold construction is already started for the polymer portion. I did a couple of different top cover designs for various optics, finishing up the numbers on those to make sure they are all in the same price range, and once I have confirmed we will post the MSRP for the forend system. I should be able to post it early next week (leaving for NRA 2014 show tomorrow) Sven Manticore Arms |

A little more detail on the ARC LOK system that will work with the Renegade forearm:
Here is a quick video showing how the system works. Manticore Arms ARC LOK function video ...and just to be clear, this isn't a concept, this is a patent pending system that is already in production in the machines. A quickie picture I had snapped when we started one of the early machining processes: |

MI has there m92 rails in stock now and have a top to use a PA micro also if your looking.
|
|
Official price on the full Renegade package (polymer lower forearm and top plate optics mount of your choice) will be $125
Molds are being cut, metal chips are starting to fly, figure about 8 weeks and production parts will be available. Sven Manticore Arms |

Will you be taking pre orders? View Quote We do not do pre-orders as a rule, I do not like to take money before we have a product to ship. That being said, send an email to [email protected] asking to be put on the Renegade notification email and we will email you when they are in stock! Sven Manticore Arms |

I should also mention that we will be selling the parts of the system "ala carte" so you will be able to buy just the polymer forend, and can always buy the optics top plate later.
The polymer forend will be $55 on its own, the optics top plates will be $70 for the complete assembly with mounting U-lugs. We are initially starting with the Burris Fastfire top plate and the Aimpoint Micro/Primary Arms Micro top plate models, and will be expanding the line from there. |

FYI, our Renegade forearm will be able to use the new ARC LOK mounting system (actually any of our forends can, it is a modular system we have been working on since last summer when the Tavor forends came out): Some of you may have been wondering why we are out of rail segments for the ARClight rails, well here is the answer: We are proud to announce today our Patent Pending ARC LOK mounting system for the ARClight series of rails! The ARC LOK system provides a quick, easy, and seamless method to mount accessories to your ARClight rail slot system without any need to access the opposite side of the ARClight surface! In addition, an integral lug system transfers all the load from the accessory directly to the rail, and does not depend on friction or just the fastener to hold it on. All ARClight rail segments and accessories shipping from now on will be featuring the ARC LOK system! http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p296/Dawg180/ARCLOK1.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p296/Dawg180/ARCLOK2.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p296/Dawg180/ARCLOK3.jpg View Quote That is pretty badass right there |
