Not saying we are doing it yet, but if you had the option for a color on the Renegade forend, what would you like? FDE? O.D. Green?

I think FDE would be neat.....but then again, I'm not a huge fan of green.

If people want another color (like green, bakelite orange, plum, red, etc), they can use Rit dye like the AR15 guys do (assuming the polymer allows it).

If you did grips to match, maybe people would be more excited?

I'd really like a set of ak100 style hand guards sized for the PAP. That would make my day!

We have a lot of money invested in the Renegade handguards and molds, it would not make financial sense for us to go invest double that amount just to make two products that directly compete against each other, sorry.

We do, however, have an AK grip already designed. If people are interested we can show some pictures and get some feedback. It is specifically designed to match the aesthetics of the Renegade forend and would be made of the same polymer.

I personally view "wolf gray" or whatever it is called as the color of the season- I don't see it lasting very long in the big picture of the industry. Maybe I am off base on that one, but FDE seems to be a much better choice if we were to make another color(?)

Here you go, pics of the prototype AK model Scorpion Grip. This was actaully developed in conjunction with the Renegade forend, we just did not put it into production (yet).

It would be made of the same polymer and texture as the Renegade, and has a hinged internal storage door on the bottom.

That M92 was built up from a parts kit before the Yugo PAP's came in, and has a standard stamped buttstock. The stock on there is a Phoenix Arms(?) polymer stock with rubber buttpad- actually a really nifty design and very reasonably priced.

That being said, it would not be out of the realm of possibility to think that maaaaybe we have plans to ultimately do a whole line of furniture for the Yugo PAP and other models of AK.

It's a fine looking pistol grip. Not my cup of tea for an AK in terms of shape, though that's my own personal preference for pistol grips. I have the Scorpion grip for my Sig rifle and while I do like it, my hand shape fits best with other designs. Regardless, Manticore Arms, your products are making the M92 more popular than it would have been otherwise, giving us the products we need to make it a useful tool rather than a loud toy.

That looks real good!

I do like the buttstock too!

ETA - offering grips that are the same color as the Renegade fore end is a better decision . IMO, FDE fore end with regular black plastic grip looks odd.

Any chance of making this pistol grip so it will clear a thumb safety like on a galil?

Seems a bit long in the front, but my scale may be out of whack. I'm not a fan of the rectangular cross section.

I like the contrast of rounded furniture on an angular receiver. The vz-58 grip is more appealing to me.

The stock possibilities are endless, especially if you produced a hinged, rectangular bar that could be fitted with a variety of plastic bodies and buttplates, and took into account the angle of the rear trunnion on PAPs.

I do love my renegade. Thanks for some very high quality products.

It actually isn't rectangular in cross section, but that is hard to show in a picture. The front is the same length as a standard AK grip, once again, the pictures don't quite show that.

That being said, I will take the feedback into account! Trying to make as perfect a grip as possible.
