atxtj's pictures show it best- the stock will clear the charging handle when folded, but depending on the exact angle of the rear of the receiver and/or just how the trunnion adapter block fits it may or may not clear the charging handle.
We would typically recommend setting up the stock to fold to the left, or making sure that the stock definitely clears the charging handle when folding to the right- the weapon would fire in the above pics but not extract and would probably leave a good mark on the back of the stock from the charging handle banging into it! Will the stock clear the scope-rail if folded on the left?
Thanx. SAMMY! |

Does anyone have a link on where to buy the folding mechanism to mount onto my SAR-1 rifle? Does the folding mech block slide into my receiver or will I need to purchase an adapter for that? If you have direct links that would be a big help. Thanks guys.

We should have Stormwerkz hinges back in stock tomorrow for a "one stop shop." We also are looking at stocking some of the trunnion adapters, or making them ourselves to make it a complete "one stop shop" |

With our Black Friday sale on, you guys cleaned us out of Triangle Stocks by 3am this morning!
I better see lots of pictures of guns with Manticore Triangle Stocks on them in the near future! (don't worry, we already had another batch in production, so they will be restocked in a couple of weeks...) Sven Manticore Arms |

Yes Sir! I absolutely LOVE my setup. Thank you so much for the great products! Also, something to note, the rear trunnion on my SGL-21 was a bit too beefy so I had to file some material off the ACE receiver block in order to get it to fit. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff63/GoombaFat/DSCN1522_zpse39baf67.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff63/GoombaFat/DSCN1519_zps3f6a0711.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff63/GoombaFat/DSCN1518_zpsac8d533f.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff63/GoombaFat/DSCN1521_zps8526929f.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff63/GoombaFat/DSCN1520_zpsd1e5ea9c.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Hi all, I saw a pic with a sling swivel apparently on the block itself. Does anyone know how this occurs? Couldnt find info online.

The Stormwerkz comes drilled and tapped for a swivel, I believe that Ace comes with one preinstalled.

Just be aware if you are using an ACE hinge, it has a "ridge" on the back that will need to be ground down if you are doing to mount it directly to the back of a Yugo PAP pistol. |

You can get some various models from ACE or just do a web search for 10-32 sling swivel. Uncle Mike's sling studs are threaded 10-32, so you can always just install one of those and an Uncle Mike's swivel on it. They typically can be found at any decent hunting and sporting goods store. I have been considering making a QD swivel pocket with a 10-32 threaded stud on the back end to make it easy to add a QD pocket to the hinges. |
|
For the swivel stud you want the short ones that are used on handguards and shotguns like these:

Got one of these for Xmas. Its nicely made (hard to mess that up) but the "finish" is horrible. Also getting a tuning fork sound out of mine.
Im sure the ano is so you can finish it yourself, but its $100+ piece of metal... guess I expected more. Its really heavy too (kinda figured that) |

Its really heavy too (kinda figured that) View Quote Most people have preferred the bead blasted finish (a smooth anodized finish would be nearly impossible to apply the coating of your choice, and most guys are coating to match the finish on their gun), but we do offer a 30 day unconditional warranty so if you aren't happy with it you can send it back for a refund. "heavy" is just the nature of the beast- it is aluminum. We could make them out of Delrin which would cut the weight in half but would be more expensive, so stuck with aluminum. No clue as to why you are getting a tuning fork sound, never heard of anyone else getting that. |

I have a question about the attachment method of the triangle stock to the stormwerkz hinge. Neither the bolt holes in the hinge nor the stock are threaded. In other words, there is nothing for the threaded supplied bolts to screw into. Does one acquire nuts to put in the slot on the stormwerkz hinge? What am I Missing here. I just acquired both parts and am impressed with the quality of both. Thanks.

View Quote There is no need from an ergonomics standpoint to do anything, it actually works great with the slight drop angle and there is no issue with it folding. If the aesthetics of the 6 degree down angle bother you, I know one or two guys who made an aluminum shim to make the stock sit perfectly horizontal, but at least one admitted he was "pretty OCD" |
|
I'm gonna mount mine to fold to the left side, so it won't obstruct the bolt or safety. Did that with the ACE stock on my Saiga conversion. I don't think 6 degrees will bother me much at all!
