THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT http://www.tapco.com/products/ak/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=238 to one of these http://aa-ok.com/2-inch-ak-barrel-extension.html and pinning those to the barrel. The 11.5" draco plus the 2" extention plus the 2.81" tapco break should put me over 16" but I'm worried about falling short due to the threads interlocking. Any one here with experience with either of these products or know where I can get my hands on a 3" extention? |

Why not save yourslf a headache and just sell the draco and buy a ak rifle rather han adding to the draco to make it a rifle?

So now, if I pin and tack an extended break on my draco, put my UF stock thats at my brothers house on it, it turns it into a rifle. Do I have to do any paperwork to do this? Or is it just do it and be done? Just thinking of it as an option till I get the cash together to sbr it. $40 now is a lot easier to come up with. |

Check out CNC Warrior. They have everything you need. Even a draco specific adapter that allows you to put a extended Bulgarian 4 piece(which they sell) on it thus bringing it to legal length. They are good people as I've bought a ton from them.

Don't settle, I'm active duty and I've got 9 NFA items and more on the way. At most you'll have to lock the stuff up for a few years while you're in enemy territory. Meanwhile, go ahead and enjoy it while you can.

You can SBR and then pin an extension on if you have to move, and remove it later when legal.
