They attach the same way all our AK hand guards attach.They clamp on to the barrel

No there is a radius cut in the top rail so irons are not obstructed.

Dferg 10, I like the looks of your pistol with the muzzle nut left on. I also like the handstop/sling swivel set up, nice!. Mind sharing where you got this handy pc of kit? I drilled the rear trunion and mounted a QD receptacle (Uncle Mike's Hvy Dty) and am using GG&G's QD sling swivel (triangle shape) and it works great with a single point sling. I can see where a two point sling could help with aiming this little beast!

I am waiting for my stamp and will be adding an Ace folding mechanism with a Noveske end plate that has a QD hole, plus a CTR stock. |

Here're my MI Mini Draco rails. Well made and easy to install, though better instructions would of been helpful. Very solid and beats the hell out of the hotdog bun grip it replaced. |
