Yep, no stock it's just a "pistol".

My concern is that once you turn it into a rifle, you cannot legally turn it back into a pistol. Thomson Contenders excluded.

That would be true(as silly as it seems) but with this it never gets turned into a rifle so no worries.

The 2nd Amendment is not about rights. It is about CAPABILITY. It is about ensuring the capability to respond to violence, and oppression. Not with 1 round, or 10, but with the full force of indignant violence deserved at a breach of our peace.

Hello all,

New to forum: been around Aks and ARs for a while now.

Here's my Draco with a few minor changes. This was a new, in-the-box Draco pistol about 2 months ago.
In addition to completely disassembling the pistol to re-profile the barrel; I had to make my own hinge block, gas tube end and front and rear end caps for the lower handguard.

Same pistol, different mag.

1968 Draco-C:

Dog Leg Top Cover (still need to get a rear sight for co-witness)
Burris Fast Fire II
US Machine Gun Fake Suppressor (brings barrel length out to over 16in. Also have a Bulgy 4 Piece if i ever move or Illinois lightens its Regs)
MI AK Handguards
Ace Folding Stock w/ Magpul CTR
Viking Tactical Offset Light Mount w/ Olight M20 LED
Magpul AFG
Hogue Pistol Grip
Krebs Custom Enhanced Selector Lever (not pictured)
And much more!
P.S. Gotta have the Circle 10's!

Sorry about the double post. Clearly I'm a n00bie and made a whole separate topic when I only meant to post on the Pic thread. My apologies Mods.

You can go from pistol to rifle, and now back to pistol, but you CAN NOT go from rifle to pistol.

The latest ruling allows the rules that apply to the Contenders to apply across the board as long as the 16" barrel and 26" OAL are still intact.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I've been busy.

Thanks! According to the BATFE(for now) the it does not have a vertical forward grip and it has no stock so it's still a pistol. You can find the chassis here http://www.cbrps.com/ the idea is it gives it a better balance by moving the grip to the center of balance and allowing you to rest some of it on your arm, of course there are other benefits to it

Looks pretty good right now I'd say! A few rivets here and there and she'll be a beauty.
