chp5,
Your Champion looks great! Much like mine will be once I receive it. A question - not having had one of these in my hands, what is the shape of the bottom of the FSB? Looks almost like a Weaver style rail. |

chp5,
Yep, saw the mount for the flashlight. Understand about the cleaning rod cut out. Just thought the sides of the base looked flared in pics I have seen. Thanks for responding. |

I didn't know you could put a bipod on a pistol...
Would you need a form 1 to put on a bipod? Never thought about doing that! Great looking pistol btw
Nope, a bipod is perfectly legal. Think TC Contender or Ruger Charger.
It is still designed to be fired from one hand, fulfilling the ATF definition of a handgun. I don't think I would put a Grip Pod on and test the waters though...... |

If so, how much does it weigh and how wide is it relative to the receiver? Thanks, Rob |

Its 2 rails- one is a shortened AMD Ultimak Gas tube and the handguard is a Ultimak Compact direct fit. Nice solid setup but it comes with a price.. and bunch of weight. Its going to be a SBR in a few weeks as that was the plan all along. As a pistol I'm not all that thrilled with it but as a SBR folder it becomes a neat comp gun and a fun range blaster.

Thanks,
which ultimak upper rail did you shorten? I thought they had one that fit natively? I assume the dremel made it that happen? Amazed, you have more in rail than you have in gun... They look great! |

They look great! Be aware that you will have to put an angle on the front of the Ultimak to match/approximate what you cut off. I considered a large drill bit, but was concerned that I wouldn't have enough "lip" on the Ultimak to fully seat, or in my ability to keep it centered. Here's what I did. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=98&t=126188 I found a 2-pack of "step drills" at Harbor Feightto re-bevel the front end of the Ultimak (I also used the M1-B). I put the Primary Arms Micro Gen 1 on it and it's got over 2k with no problems. If I remember correctly, the biggest diameter I used was 11/16", but it might have been 3/4". |

Will a Krink receiver cover work on a DRACO? If so, where can I find one?

ProlificARProspect,
Can you share how you mounted that rail? I've got an idea how you did it,but would like to be sure. |

IMO, if someone were to make a faux-Krinkov rear-sight leaf that fits an AKM RSB, I think they'd sell more than a few of them... |
