Standard AK slings should fit no problem. I prefer the look of the top loaders, but either style should work. I think Sportsman's Guide has some for sale, they also pop up on the EE fairly often.

I'm also wondering about a sling. Are these the standard Romanian green nylon AK slings?

We can only hope. All the Russian/Bulgy RPK74s are too expensive. We need more to be imported.

After doing my due diligence and deciding to jump on an AES-10B, Classic Firearms sells out the next day... Does anyone know of a current place that has them/will have them? Classic says they won't be getting anymore and Gunbroker/Equipment Exchange folks are asking generally over $700...which is taking this rifle out of the "good deal" range.

Just checked with 4 distributors and none of them even have it listed anymore.

I found them for $539. I'll post where after I pick mine up on Monday

$578 with tax out the door. All matching except for ridged dust cover. Front sight has a very slight cant. From..................Fleet Farm

So if you are lucky enough to have one in your area. Mine (Winona,MN) is stocked up on 5.56/.223, 9mm, 7.62x39, 7.62x54, and 5.45x39. Everything I need and their prices are competitive with online sellers if you figure in shipping costs.

Good luck.

I just came back from my local fun store. He also said that he won't be getting any more. They've gone by the way of the PSL's. I guess what ever's out there is it.

Maybe I should start taking offers on mine, unfired new in box.

I saw a new CAI Romanian AES-10B this weekend for sale at Superior Pawn and Gun in Virginia Beach (757-490-4760) for $699. Last one. Trunnion, carrier and bolt numbers match. Didn't check the other numbers. Correct heavy barrel, fixed stock, adjustable bipod, windage rear sight. With 2-40rd mags. Front sight not canted, typical CAI build.
