THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Like the Egyptian AKM, the metal has a rough exterior but internally it is very smooth. The parts are all marked in Arabic and the wood is oversized without any concern for even fit. What wood it is we do not know––Acacia? Date Palm?!! Still, it is an odd thing of beauty and is typical of the Middle Eastern firearms so often encountered by our servicemen in the last 20 years. This one is marked 1979 and 15677 in Arabic and we built it with the same serial number on the DSA receiver. By carefully milling the lower, we were able to preserve the numbers like we do on all of our RPDs. Enjoy, Steve |

Very nice. Is that a hot blued finish or duracoat?

It is hot blued. Only the best for what we build. Durable coatings typically are not durable. We will only paint a ComBloc gun if that was the way it was originally. Thanks, Steve
