I don't think I shared My Russian RPK here yet! Purchased last December from Legion. It's made out of a 1968 Molot parts kit and predominantly matching serial numbers (I think one or two small parts are mismatched). NDS receiver and Green Mountain barrel.

CHINA_POLY_TECH_ -_223, (got new in 1985 or 1986) sold it last year.

The 7.62x39 mm RPK-S (folding stock) is a 1969 Molot made gun. The hand guards and vertical grip are ZenitCo made parts (B-20U, B-19 and RK-6) the flash hider is a Molot RPK-74/203 model (fit both). The sling is a SRVV 2 point adjustable “Pilum” in Multicam. Paint job is spray and hand painted mix bush camouflage.

Can anyone confirm if the weapon this NVA soldier is carrying is an RPK? I've posted it on another forum and a few people think it's one, but the weapon looks too short. But it could be that the butt stock has been removed or perhaps folded?

It has an extra ring between the gas block and front sight block for the cleaning rod and you can see bipod legs in his hand. Looks short due to perspective of the photo. |
