Ooops. Somehow double tapped the edit.

Nice price. So did the lawyers say whether I can drive down to Columbia and purchase directly or do I need to have it shipped to my dealer for transfer here in NC. Be cool to check out the parts ahead of time. I don't see a Gas tube? And do you know what type of Gas block the rifle has -- early or late pattern?

Unfortunately, receiver transfers have to be done in your home state.

So, did they really sell out that fast?
|

Yay, you're back!
But what's up with this: The following items in this kit are not 922r compliant: Bolt, Mounting blocks (trunions). View Quote Have you switched to a foreign supplier? |

Thank you for the comments. Just to clear up a few questions: Some of the raw components are made to our specifications, in a non-communist country, and inspected, heat treated and coated here in the US. The imported parts are listed in the descriptions as 922r out of an abundance of caution. They are not sourced from, IO or any other US AK manufacturer. The kits, barreled receivers, and rifles are assembled here in South Carolina. The parts are set to an American standard, but are closer to the Russian print than anything else. We recommend only PSA Parts with the PSAK-47 receivers for best results. |

Things are tough all over

Will you be offering unfinished barrels and receivers?
|
|
|
Links say sold out.
Can someone tell us what they were priced at?? |
|
|
|
$259 for the barreled receiver
$199 for the kit |

So what is the difference between getting the reciever and kit, and getting the full rifle for $699.99? Does PSA charge that much of a difference just to put the parts together?

Nice kit. I bought without any furniture as having several sets laying around waiting to be used. Finished mine yesterday. Complaints, lower handguard retainer does not have sling attachment point, lack of cleaning rod, and bayonet lug is to thick. Tried Romanian, Polish, Yugo, and Bulgarian bayonets, would not fit.Have not been to range yet. Hope this helps.

missed the boat last time they were in stock, now I am waiting to get me one

I measured the bayo-lug on a barrel I have and it is .464" wide and each side is .110" thick. My PSA lug is too thick also. I believe I can dress it down carefully with a file, making sure to keep even side to side and front to rear.

That is a sweet looking deal

Yugo bayonet fit perfect. Few times with blueing, all is good. I used the MOE furniture kit, I put an Echo93 plate under the grip for single point sling. |

Ugh. We need less AKMs and more AK-47s
