AK Quick Detach Scope Mount: Over the years we have received numerous requests to make a quick detach, high performance optic mount for AK variants, so the GG&G design team decided it was time to deliver. We are proud to announce our new AK Quick Detach Scope Mount. AK Quick Detach Scope Mount Specifications: Attaches to most AK variants with a built in receiver scope rail interface. Scope mounting dovetail rail meets MIL-SPEC-1913. The AK-ucam QD adjustable locking mechanism is shown to have 1/2moa return to zero or less when re-installed properly on to the AK scope rail. QD system allows for easy attachment, removal and re-attachment. The AK-ucam lever is serrated on the bottom finger pad to facilitate a secure grip when unlocking the quick detach mechanism. The GG&G AK-ucam QD System is fully adjustable for a worn or out of tolerance AK side rail. The scope mount is precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The AK-ucam Quick Detach mechanism is manufactured from heat treated 4130 steel. All edges are smoothed and rounded for the shooter's safety. Finish: Aluminum Body is Type III hard coat anodized in a non-reflective matte black finish per Mil-Spec. Steel parts are manganese phosphated matte black per Mil-Spec. Rail Length: 6 1/8". Does the mount with the 30mm Ring sit low enough to see the Iron Sights through the Optic? It looks low enough and I have an Aimpoint PRO sitting in the Safe right now. Please advise. Thank you. |

These are really nice looking mounts, especially the single 30mm mount. What would be awesome is if you could make a double ring 30mm mount with enough of a forward cant just barely above rear sight to mount common 1-4X scopes so that there is no eye relief problems common with mounting these to AKs. The market could really use such an item.

Do they center over the receiver cover on milled Arsenal Bulgarian receivers or are they biased to one side or another? |

On the 30mm mount and an Aimpoint, can you get the top cover off the AK and bolt carrier out without removing the mount?
Does the mount return to vodka-blurred zero? (it's for an AK, after all). |

You can see the sights. But they are in the very very bottom of the scope's lens. Not the most ideal sight picture, but would work if needed.
