Because they dont make the lever( some poor schmuck in a third world country does that ) they make the little metal tab, rivet it to the lever and charge tripple for it. If they actual made the lever it would cost $150 or more.

i purchased one and its junk. It was bent to the point where it wouldnt fit on 3 different AKs. It appeared that when they pressed the rivet it was done too hard and bent the safety just enough so the safety would not clear the receiver. I emailed US Palms and was very respectful and explained the issue and never heard back from them. That will be the last product of theirs I ever use and will never reccomend them.
