Never thought I'd get one again. My first was a Romanian that had lots of problems and ended up getting rid of it. I had an AR listed for sale and got an offer for a Polish Tantal made by century, 600rds, and some Bulgarian mags. I feel it was a fair trade as I only had 700 in the AR. When I went to check it out I put a bullet in the muzzle and it didn't swallow it so I figured it would be good. Took it out to shoot today and it doesn't keyhole. Now I want another one with a wood stock set. I always wanted 5.45 since it was so much cheaper. I didn't realize most of it is corrosive. Maybe my next AK will be in 7.62x39 since I've already got SKS rifles. I'm a happy camper

THIS...and although I have my fair share of AR's, and .mil trained...AK's are more fun to shoot as well than AR's....In a lot of ways the AR is just to "appliance like" to me....that character thing again.

Throw some pictures up! I have a CIA Tantal as well, good barrel, and its a very good shooter for the $450 I paid for it. Just couldn't stand that god awful Park, so I took care of that

Parkerizing on it doesn't do it for me, haha. I'm old school and can't upload pics from the phone. My point and shoot is a POS and went fubar on my trip. I got a DSLR for Christmas but the battery is dead! Pics will come up sometime though. Only have gotten to take it out once to shoot so far, but I did order a case of ammo for it.
