From what I heard contract between FB Radom and I.O. included 500 Mini Beryls as "Archer Pistol" in pistol configuration (ready to be SBR-ed). AFAIK I.O. never actually ordered those to be delivered.

FB Radom is interested in selling those on US market. As a "pistol" those are actually little easier to bring to US market, than full size rifle was.

Rail (POPC2) is not permanent. There are 2 set screws and when you remove them, you can slide rail back and remove it from rear sight base. However, by doing this, you also remove rear sight.

Here is my Mini with rail removed and POPC3 with Micro T1 put in place:
