Looking at the Beryl folding stock, does it give a better cheekweld than the Tantal wire folder? I have purchased the part from AMD65 for a better cheekweld with the tantal stock, but if the Beryl is better, then I am thinking about going in that direction.

Yes it does. Beryl stock is straight and has wider diameter tube covered in heat shrink tubing.
