Started out as a typical Century Golani that wouldn't reliably extract and whose bolt only rested on one locking lug.
- Installed a virgin NOS chrome line Isreali barrel - Lapped locking lugs - Smaller gas port than normal (originally way overgassed, smith is very good at tuning gas systems) - Cut to 14.X" and A1 flash hider pinned and welded - Restored the night sights - Rustoleum appliance epoxy paint (fogged on for textured finish) It shoots very nicely and is remarkably accurate for an AK variant.

I'm curious what kind of accuracy you are getting? I've always wondered what they would be capable of. |

It printed right around 3" at 100 yards using 10 rounds of PMC 55gr .223 ammo. It was only a single group to verify zero but I was impressed nonetheless.

Sigh. I had a galoni about 5 years back. I wish I never sold that thing. Mine ran perfect.

It came with them but I'm not the first owner.
They do appear to be brand new though. |
