Tried a search and only came up with something in the archives. I saw this on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr7q7kDCTZ0

I don't see folders but I wonder if they will be an option. Odd that they would add all kinds of rails but loose the folder.

I saw it too. Hope they do bring the Semi Auto version to the US!

I hear they are. I'd love an SBR the size of a micro Galil with useable rails.

seems they prefer the collapsible stock now. I'd buy one for sure!

I hear they will not be building these in the US plant with Tavor. Oh we'll.

I pm'ed Kassner here and asked him late last year if they were going to be making the ACE, he said they would be available in 2014!

This!

Oh please oh please I hope they offer the 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 versions, in both ACE and original Galil configurations.

I'd much rather have a x39 ACE than the new arsenal...

I do not see the option for the ACE-N to have the original Galil folding stock. Is that what you were saying?

Because that is the configuration in which I would prefer it.

I'll take an  ACE 32, ACE 52 L, and an ACE 23!! Gotta get the best of the variants and not pay $200 tax stamp.

I have been asking IWI US on thier Facebook page when the ACE will be available for the last two months and finally got a reponse. They said to be patient, so at least that confirms that it is coming.

I doubt anything will happen this year, IWI is focusing on the Tavor. Maybe next year.

ACE N with a folding stock, takes AR mags, I'd totally be in on that.

If they'll sell us parts.

LOL, it won't be at the shoot.

Unfortunately the State Dept took too long on the paperwork so it doesn't look like we will have an IWI ACE at Bullpup Shoot 2014.

On the upside, we will have a Negev 5.56mm  full auto LMG there!

(Manticore was able to help secure 8,000 rounds of belted ammo for it for a LEO demo this week, so we all get to play with it at Bullpup Shoot 2014!    )

So I guess this means there are no US made ACE's yet

Import paperwork. It takes a long time to bring a sample gun in from overseas.

Nevermind...

I guess Poorman knows more than IWI US on how to run a business and how importation of weapons work...

Asshollyness aside, what I meant was that I would have thought that one of the first things IWI US would have done was to import some ACE and Tavor models for LE demos. But, I guess they wanted to concentrate fully on US Tavor production. They don't even show the new Micro UZI on their site anymore.

Import a 16" pistol, just like they did with the Turkish MP5s. Duh.

I'd say I'm going to hold out for a traditional pattern, but I'm going to take a wild guess that they either dumped the tooling and don't make them that way anymore, or just won't offer it.

ETA: Damn, just saw MAC post that the originals are no longer made. Guess it'll be the ACE. And look on the bright side, anyone with an original will probably retain it's value.

The 5.56 version coming here(in another year) will take AR mags, and the 308 version(hopefully later this year) will take SR25 mags.
