I know the SAR versions are 13.7" but their gas tube is shorter and I would like to have a 14.5" w/pinned comp without having to mess with the gas system. |

Just got mine cut and soldered to 16", went to the range this weekend and had no troubles at all....

Looking at cutting mine down to 14.5" and pinning a MB556K on mine. |
