THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I have a Century Arms Golani and I'm thinking about selling it to fund a new purchase. I've been researching the selling prices on gunbroker and various other sites but wanted to know what you guys thought.

Does it work?

WTS/WTT: 1 kidney or liver chunk for AK parts.

Q: Have you heard about McDonald's' new Obama Value Meal?

Yes it works. I have about 200 rounds through it, functions fine on brass but does not seen to like the Tula ammo.

The one I built hates Tula, its too under powered and won't properly cycle the gas system.

Have you checked the headspace on the rifle?
Do both lugs make even contact?

These are the things that will determine the value. If its another F'ed up Century job, its probably worth whatever a parts kit is going for. If it shows signs of being a decent rifle, you can probably get more.

At the gun shop we would give you $250 for it and try and sell it for $500ish. We had one last month come through that we gave 275 on trade and ended up selling it for $475.

A few months ago I picked one up at my LGS for $275. It came with 8 mags, & the gunsmith verified the headspacing, & that both lugs made contact. I was also able to test fire it to make sure it was Kosher. Used PMC ammo. That's the only way I'd buy one of these guns considering the shaky history on them. It also came with a front rail which I quickly swapped for a regular Galil front handguard. Great gun for $275. For some reason, it had Hebrew letters on the side, & the word Golani is nowhere on the gun. Can't even find the word Century, but the ser# is in line with the ORF receivered guns. GARY N4KVE

OP. You should be able to get at least $400 for a good firing rifle and around $500 would be about average.

Gary. Sounds like to have a receiver from ORF as the later offered ones were marked in Hebrew.
