So I ordered a new complete bolt, and a original pistol grip. What else would I have to change to put the original bipod and handguard on it?
Also are the century barrels chrome lined? It doesn't look that way. I'm tempting to order one and have it installed |

It doesn't look that way. I'm tempting to order one and have it installed I don't know, but I highly doubt it. The only chrome lined Galil barrels I've seen are IMI. It probably wouldn't be worth the cost of having a chrome lined barrel installed. I'd just shoot it as is, especially since most .223/5.56 is non-corrosive. |

Cool thank you! I will check the headspace. To me it seems the rile has some barrel issues it shoots to far to the right. But within adjustment of the front site post

But within adjustment of the front site post Thats more than likely front sight block cant, not necessarily a bent barrel. To fix this, unpin the front sight block. Clamp the receiver to a solid bench. Support the barrel in front of and behind the FSB. Bash with hammer. I also recommend removing the adjustable portion of the front sight assembly before attempting this. I skipped that step with my Galil build, and ended up smashing it off with a stray hammer strike. A new one set me back some decent money. |
