I realized lately that I really like Yugo guns; I've got an N-PAP underfolder, and just got an M72 kit from Apex to have built. But I'm interested in the history of the Yugoslavian arms industry, too. Are there any good books specific to Yugoslavian small arms production? I'm really interested in anything; it doesn't matter if it's about Mausers, SKSes or AKs...

The only specific book on Yugo guns I know of is
Serbian and Yugoslav Mauser Rifles by Branko Bogdanovic.

I wish there was a book devoted to Yugo Ak's and Sks's too.

I'm gonna pick up Ak47 The Grim Reaper soon. I bet it has plenty of Zastava info in it.  Hope this all helps.

This is the best source of Yugo AK info that I have ever come across:  http://www.theakforum.net/forums/30-yugoslavian

Not the printed info you're asking for, but if you really dig into that forum (go back years and start reading), you'll find a wealth of good info.

95% of what I know about the history of Yugo AKs came from that forum.

I'll second that. I've lost countless hours delving through the historical and technical information over there.
