what does "NPAP" and "PAP" designation mean/stand for in Yugo models?

PAP is an acronym for Poluautomatske Puška, which translates to "semi-automatic rifle" in English.

No clue what the N or the O stand for.  Might be Century designations to differentiate the 2 rifles.
