THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I Used search and couldnt find anything... so moving to asking =P

I just Ordered my Ace Ultralight Modular Fixed and YUGO adapter-base plate...

I'm trying to find video's or advice on the install.

Is it bolt on?

Will I need to remove anything from the Reciever of my M70?(minus the wood buttstock)

Is its a task that can be done with a good ol' set de' tools?.. thats enough info alone to ease my mind.

Is anything specific involved? grinding/fabrication/rivet removal.

thanks ALOT everyone, really excited to get this piece on!

You've probably already solved this issue, but it bolts right on with an allen wrench. Be sure to use a long one or you won't get it to fit snug.

yeah the install went VERY smoothly...took all of 10 mins... the hardest part was getting the foam overtube on the buttstock tube. a little baby powder took care of that... I will say tho...wasnt very enthusiastic about the buttpad...just not feeling it, I decided to go without it altogether... the butt has a decent enough design on the back of it anyway...similar to a m240B or a m249...looked good enough for me. very happy with it!

I am trying to do the same by upgrading the buttstock on my Zastava PAP M70. I would like to use the VLTOR EMOD stock. Is there an adapter that will allow for a buffer tube to be installed? I have already found some adapters, but I'm not sure if these are the correct ones I need to get the job done. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Adapters I have found:

Great choice. The E-MOD is one of my all-time favorite stocks. I use it on two ARs and love it.

You'll need a Pig Nose as well to mount an extension tube to the adapter you have referenced.

Awesome to hear. Yeah I'm stuck with this stock for this gun because I didnt do my research first with the whole YUGO problem not fitting normal AK variants. One more question; the pig nose will allow me to screw on the tube which will then allow the VLTOR to slide over? Correct? Can you help me out with the correct fitting tube? Thank you so much for this information.

The receiver adapter mounts to the rifle, the pig nose mounts to the adapter, and the extension/buffer tube threads into the pig nose. The E-mod slides onto the extension/buffer tube.

AR buffer tubes are made by numerous companies, you don't need a specific make or model. If your E-Mod is the mil-spec version, get a mil-spec buffer tube. If your E-mod is the commercial version, get a commercial buffer tube.

Here is just one example of numerous buffer tubes for sale out there: http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XDSABuffer&name=DSA+Inc.+6-Position+Mil-Spec+Buffer+Tube&groupid=576
