I know the ribbed dust cover isnt exactly the "Yugo look" but i'm not building a replica, I'm building "My AK" =)
still, thanks for viewing! My first handy work(self modification) with my weapons so far. |

If you're going to put rails and a folder on it, the ribbed cover is a moot point. None of it is traditional Yugo. It's your rifle, who cares what others think about it. Enjoy it. |

How much of that gun is "matching numbers" ? I am assuming that aside from the 922 parts - the rest is real-deal Zastava?

Did it come with a cleaning rod?

Could you just drill out the rail rivets, fill the holes and blue/refinish the cover?

I have had no bolt problems so far only 500 rounds fired. It did not come with a cleaning rod... and for $650 it damn should of. It is a great rifle for the fun sporter shooter or someone looking to build a tactical rig.... but deffinately not refined enough to turn into a collectors piece. Its very solid very durable very reliable..
Its a great platform to build a serious zombie merc'n machine....but nothing special or unique enough to write home about.... I love it tho...its exactly what i wanted it to be. |

I just picked up one of these rifles myself. I drilled out the rivets from the top but that did nothing for removing the rail. It appears to be welded from the bottom or something and the bits I have couldn't touch it. At that point I just went with a smooth yugo dust cover I found on Ebay, a little grinding and it fit like a glove. This is a very robust rifle and overall I am very happy with it. I did not like the bolt and carrier fitment. There seemed like there was a lot of play between the two compared to my m70B1 I had. This also caused the bolt carrier to hang up on the hammer quite a bit too. Then there was the issue of the single stack bolt and it barely being able to pick up a round. I ordered an new bolt carrier and bolt from Black Market arms and then sent the gun to Two river arms to have everything fitted. Should get it back sometime this week.

I don't really trust the single stacked bolt in these double stacked conversions for this reason. Probably works fine under ideal conditions, but under less than ideal conditions, who knows... |

I havnt experienced any issues with my bolt not feeding rounds correctly in my pap...is there a correct bolt replacement i should order? Would like to keep my carrier if possible...have put a lot of time into polishing it.

Parts matching for the most part? Factory barrel? These looked so nice, really want to know if they're the real deal. |

I felt there was way to much play between bolt and carrier. Having owned an older M70B1 I could definately tell the difference so I choose to replace both parts and go with the regular style yugo bolt. Nice rifle you got there, go shoot the crap out of it. |
