THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Same as: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct1185.aspx After reading and research I've learned these AK variants are slightly different when it comes to the accessories that will fit with them. However I've learned that a lot of parts do fit...just have to be specifically made for the YUGO's... leading me into question 1. I know this rifle is not a "real" YUGO m70 B1...its seribian made, on the YUGO m70 specs. will accessories designed for "YUGO" ak's fit this rifle? specifically... the Texas Weapon Systems dogleg dust cover+rail system? http://www.texasweaponsystems.com/id1.html The Midwest Industries Quad Rail? (The Yugo Option) http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=241 and the ACE buttstock adaptor? http://riflestocks.com/cgi-bin/sc/order.cgi?rd=1&storeid=*148c6e9a1abf50860c4a9593&sbid=SSMSB1338071210.30635&redirect=yes Thanks for your help! I've done my reading, but I am confused because I know these zastava PAP's arent "real" YUGO M70's. I know Liquidmetal did a write up with pics on it, however his pics arent showing for me =( To remove my buttstock I have to gain access to the screws underneath the rubber butt pad correct? As far as I can tell, this will require manually removing the butt pad with force because no screws are visible...correct? How difficult is this process? I have been to the US Army's Armory school, however I've never worked in an Arms Room, just to give you an idea of my base of knowledge... this is my FIRST and ONLY AK experience thus far. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!! Help/direction vastly appreciated! |

Yes, there is a 8mm bolt under the pad that secures the stock to the rear trunnion. Remove the pad to access it. |
