I just bought this sks today and what I know its a norinco and it takes ak47 magazines and its in beautiful condition with very few flaws on the stock. so if anyone can help I would be grateful thanks Jason. |

Well, you got one of the better SKS out there in your M model.
How much did you pay? There is not a lot in the way of accessories or stocks for it but having the flexibility of SKS mags makes it awesome by itself. |

the stock is different than any other sks I have seen is this a factory mod? does anyone know how many sks with this stock where imported?

Thay made a few models including the "D" of your platform SKS that have different stock options and barrel lengths. |

i would like to change out the stock so should i do this or should i just sell it to a sks collector and buy a different one to mod? i like the fact it uses ak47 mags and not those duck bill mags but i hate how heavy it is in the current form.

If you are set on one that uses AK mags then keep what you have and buy another stock. Just keep the original stock in case you ever sell it to retain max value. |
