Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - "Chinese" SKS

I'm trying to confirm whether there is a manufacturer listed as "Chinese" for a SKS. I only thought Norincos and Polytechs were the only manufacturers.

On the recent imports some have China on the import mark.  What exactly is it that you want to know?  Details on the rifle in question?  Markings tell the tale...

There are dozens of firearm factories in China.  Direct export models are marked Polytech or Norinco.  Others made in the 70s-80s were for the military. They only have the factory
code (3 number, triangle shaped stamp),  3 Chinese characters and an import stamp.
